Born and bred in Mberengwa, Susan grew up in a rural setting, completing her ordinary level at Chegutu High School in the small mining town of Chegutu. She later moved to Masvingo for her advanced level at Masvingo Christian College. She went on to do her undergrad at Great Zimbabwe University successfully completing a bachelor of Science in Social Anthropology. She is currently a field officer with the Zimbabwe National Network of People living with HIV (ZNNP+)
Susan joined the arts in 2012 as a member of the GZU theatre club. She played a leading female role in a film by Taurai Sekenya called 'Wonders of Life'. In Eleven PM she plays the role of Tendai, a young woman whose mother passed on when she was still at a tender age. Tendai's father is a cross-border truck driver who spends weeks sometimes months away from home. She is however, employed as a secretary and takes care of her school going brother, Alex.
Back to real life, Susan believes that the development of a nation lies in the hands of emancipated women and she aspires to be a strong community development worker who advocates for women in rural communities.
